Acton Forrest is our student in the spotlight for his unwavering levels of respect and kindness. Not only does Acton conduct himself in an exemplary manner each day, he does so with a smile and a positive attitude. He is incredibly diligent, often overcoming challenges with mature problem solving and navigating the Learning to Learn Framework expertly. He is proof that hard work pays off and it is a pleasure to be apart of his academic success here at OneSchool Global. Acton is a highly respected member of the campus team and all staff would like to genuinely thank him for his delightful approach to school life.
This term in PE, we've been focusing on Kotahitanga, the spirit of unity and collaboration, through dynamic, activity-based learning. Our students have been sharpening their communication, inclusion, and cooperation skills in a range of engaging challenges, including back-to-back drawing, the human knot, and the floating stick. These activities have encouraged teamwork, strategic thinking, and a shared commitment to achieving success together.
Although last week's weather kept us from getting to hockey, we didn’t let that dampen our enthusiasm! Instead, we seized the opportunity to play squash, a fantastic way to refine hand-eye coordination and racket skills while keeping the energy high. The students embraced the challenge, making the most of every rally and quick reaction.
With plenty more exciting sessions ahead, we're looking forward to continuing our journey of skill-building and teamwork. Stay tuned for more updates as we push forward with fun, movement, and learning!

This week for swimming the girls learnt how to survive if something happened to them in the water. They donned life jackets as their instructors taught them about the importance of sticking together and how to float with their arms linked and how to call for help. These are important life skills for those 'just in case' scenarios.

In Week 7, the year 3-6 class visited Tonui Collab for an exciting hands-on experience with robotics and engineering! We explored how to control Spheros — small, round robots that can move, light up, and even race. We looked at how people in the past used transport and trade, and thought about how we could use Spheros to recreate those ideas using modern technology. It was a fun day full of creativity, teamwork, and learning through play!"

Student Driver / Rider Policy
PURPOSE
It is expected that students will normally travel to and from school using school provided transport, or where
this is not available, in private vehicles under the supervision of a responsible adult. However, this policy
aims to clarify what measures must be implemented for the safe transportation of students if the Campus
Management decides to permit the riding of bicycles, e-scooters and e-skateboards, or for students to drive,
or be driven by a student, to or from the Campus.
