Capri’s journey is one of quiet courage and growing strength. She has been learning to face challenges with a brave heart—dusting herself off and stepping forward with resilience that shines brighter each day.
Her growing confidence and ability to self-direct and take charge of her learning is a true testament to her inner strength. Capri is beginning to trust herself more, and it shows in her learning, her choices, and the way she shows up each day in our sparkling new learning centre.
Mission Possible – Gisborne Edition!
Our Term 2 excursion was nothing short of an epic adventure! Armed with curiosity, teamwork, and a sense of fun, our mission took us all over Gisborne to crack clues, conquer challenges, and put our navigation skills to the test.
Each team received mysterious clues leading them to secret destinations across the city. At every stop, a new challenge awaited, sparking excitement, laughter, and some seriously impressive teamwork. The journey reached peak fun at Waikanae Beach, where students unleashed their inner architects in a sandcastle-building showdown, followed by some well-earned pizza to power up for the grand finale.
The final challenge? A high-stakes race packed with puzzles, riddles, and brain teasers drawn from each team's whirlwind journey. The goal: unlock the prize box first. There were thrills, close calls, and even a moment of panic when the key went temporarily missing, but in the end, huge congratulations to the Red Team for clinching the victory!
Massive thanks to Mrs. Hall for masterminding this unforgettable day. Your effort, energy, and creativity made every moment feel like a real-life mission, and we loved every second of it!

This was followed by lunch and time to run around and play at the Botanical Gardens.
A big thank you to the mums who joined us for this excursion, and to Jayde who brought lunch down to us.

Student Driver / Rider Policy
PURPOSE
It is expected that students will normally travel to and from school using school provided transport, or where
this is not available, in private vehicles under the supervision of a responsible adult. However, this policy
aims to clarify what measures must be implemented for the safe transportation of students if the Campus
Management decides to permit the riding of bicycles, e-scooters and e-skateboards, or for students to drive,
or be driven by a student, to or from the Campus.
