UPDATE FROM THE SECONDARY
This term in PE, we've been focusing on Kotahitanga, the spirit of unity and collaboration, through dynamic, activity-based learning. Our students have been sharpening their communication, inclusion, and cooperation skills in a range of engaging challenges, including back-to-back drawing, the human knot, and the floating stick. These activities have encouraged teamwork, strategic thinking, and a shared commitment to achieving success together.
Although last week's weather kept us from getting to hockey, we didn’t let that dampen our enthusiasm! Instead, we seized the opportunity to play squash, a fantastic way to refine hand-eye coordination and racket skills while keeping the energy high. The students embraced the challenge, making the most of every rally and quick reaction.
With plenty more exciting sessions ahead, we're looking forward to continuing our journey of skill-building and teamwork. Stay tuned for more updates as we push forward with fun, movement, and learning!
