UP COMING 2/3-WAY CONFERENCES
Dear Parent,
In a couple weeks' time, we will be holding our Term 2, 2/3-way Conferences for all Year 3-13 students to give parents an opportunity to meet with their child(ren)’s subject teachers (year 9 – 13) and classroom teacher (year 3-8).
KEY EVENT DETAILS:
Date: 11th June
Time: Wednesday 1pm – 4pm
And
Date: 12th June
Time: Thursday 12th 8am – 4pm
Location: Zoom or face-to-face on Campus
Conference Length: 15 minutes
Please note that all campuses will be closed on Wednesday 11th from 1pm-4pm and Thursday 12th June from 8am-4pm to facilitate these interviews as there will be no staff available to supervise the students. If this is challenging for any families, please reach out to your Campus principal as soon as possible to discuss supervision.
Students will be required to complete their learning from home, unless they attend an interview in person. Any student who attends an interview in person is required to wear the correct school uniform.
The 2/3-way Conferences are a great opportunity for the school and teachers to work with parents to support student engagement and learning across all year levels, and we are targeting full participation.
You will have the opportunity for a 15-minute interview with your child(ren)’s subject teachers (year 9-13) or classroom teacher (year 3-8). You have the opportunity for this to be a 2-Way (Parent and Teacher only) or 3-Way (Parent, Teacher, and Student) Conference.
These Conferences will give you the opportunity to discuss your child(ren)’s progress in areas such as:
- Academic Progress / NCEA Results
- Engagement with the Learning to Learn Framework
- Tracking against the Student Persona
- Meeting Checkpoints and Deadlines
BOOKING YOUR CONFERENCE
To book your conference, please complete the online form here. You have the opportunity for your conferences to be 2-way (Parent and Teacher only) or 3-way (Parent, Teacher, and Student).
After you have booked your conference, you will receive a booking confirmation email with a downloadable calendar appointment. This appointment will contain the Zoom pin for any conference via Zoom.
Bookings for this event will close at 5pm on Monday, 10th June. If you are unable to make an online booking, please contact your campus Office Administrator for assistance.
Your child's teachers will be listed on the Edge online portal, or available in Canvas. Please double check these are correct with your child before booking.
We strongly encourage all parents to take this opportunity to connect with their child's teacher(s). As there are a limited number of bookable conference slots per teacher, we recommend booking your conferences as early as possible.
We are targeting full participation.
